Citizen Journalism with SPJ Colorado Chapter

"Citizen journalism" — and how it differs from professional reporting — will be the topic of a panel discussion presented by the Colorado Pro Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists and the Denver Press Club. Panelists will explore the promise and pitfalls of anyone with a Wi-Fi connection being a potential publisher; the ethics around anonymity; the importance of verification; and the everyday decisions professional journalists make in their reporting process.
