Trusted Sources Film Screening

We're very happy to announce a special rough-cut screening of Trusted Sources, a forthcoming film by Colorado filmmaker Don Colacino, January 25 at 6:30 p.m.

With trust in news in decline since the 1970s and local news outlets disappearing at more than two per week, ‘free' online information is crowding out professional journalism.  Agenda-driven content, often disguised as news, further erodes trust, allowing mis- and disinformation to divide our nation against itself.  Our democracy is under threat. Trusted Sources shows how we arrived at this point, how to find trustworthy news, and ways to protect professional journalism.  It features journalists and trust experts from Colorado and across the country who share their journalistic standards and work to increase news literacy.

The screening is free for members and their guest and limited to 20 attendees, so please sign up now to secure a spot. Attendees are entitled to a glass of beer or wine on the producer's tab, and will be asked to fill out a survey about the film.
